I've been having trouble retrieving email and reaching our new website
http://www.hosannachurch.com .

Natch, it was just made "live" yesterday.

Actually, I just realized I don't 'zaktly know which server we're on and nothing in the activation letter gives me a lead.

Hey Frankc.... if you are a new client, you are on SIX, I am almost positive of this. Also, if you would like to know/see for yourself, you can telnet in and it will indicate when you are logging in which server you are on.... as for SIX being okay, I haven't been to my site, however, I am able to send and recieve emails just fine *so far* today! http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

Hearts, thanks for the tip--yup, I'm on SIX. Well, access to the website and pulling emails has been sporadic but I can reach out to other websites fine. Maybe our ISP is intermittent (we're on a LAN and don't have the systray modem icon to show when data's flowing or wha').

I am having the same problems. VERY sporadic.
I cannot determine if this is routing or the server.

This has been happening all morning.

Official Word: Seems that there are some major problems on the internet today, especially with routers in the Washington DC and Fort Worth areas...

I have been experiencing the glitches as well since 5:00am EDT... It is very sporadic in nature, with even the connections between SIX and TAZ feeling it as well to...

Around 8:00am EDT, I had to setup a relay from my system-->TAZ-->SIX because my system couldn't get through...

PS: SIX has been running rock-solid after I kicked it really hard...

Hey guys... i am having the same type of prob with the forum here. But with heartsweb I just breeze right along.. must be an internet thing.. do a trace route.
www.domainwatch.com/nph-trace.cgi?host=www.FUTUREQUEST.NET (http://www.domainwatch.com/nph-trace.cgi?host=www.FUTUREQUEST.NET)

(where it says futurequest, place your domain instead)

Or do it via dos
tracert futurequest.net

(I forgot the command and had to ask Justin! http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif )

Terra, thanx for "da word". Geez, on the ISP my company's website is hosted, I'd NEVER get this sort of service. Come contract renewal time, we'll have to have "a talk"!

THANKS again!

Now he remembers he likes it A LOT!
