Today at 1:33pm, server SIX froze for undetermined causes... I am heavily investigating the instability problems we are experiencing with this cutting edge server... It was neither overloaded nor overheated...
Much of SIX's design is leading edge design with the new Linux 2.2.x kernel and highly optimized Apache/PHP/MySQL and Perl 5.002_02 engines... I had expected some minor problems, but not total system freezes without warning or some type of indicator as to what is going wrong... If this continues to cause a stability problem, I will have no choice but to downgrade it to TAZ's solid operating architecture...
Since SIX is still in Beta production testing and was showing signs of instability I froze all Phase2 upgrades until the source of these problems could be isolated and fixed...
Special thanks to Gustavo (maxcess.net) for getting us back online quickly...
