As you know, our AutoResponder and MailingList manager suffer from a lack of Web Based interface...
I am considering scrapping the AutoResponder we use now, but leaving ez-MLM running (as it is lightning fast) for those that want it...
Please checkout and provide feedback:

If everyone likes this, I will consider creating a PHP3 port as I want to minimize the CGI overhead... What I'm looking for is the feedback for the general layout and functionality...

Not too bad. I didn't notice a Reply-To address field for the auto-responder. That would be great, so that they don't reply back to the autoresponder. But otherwise, it seems cool.
Who's gonna write the php interface???? http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

well, i am not much help for ya here, cuz i don't use what i have now. IF this is like a hotmail type thing.. I would have to say I wouldn't like it.
i don't know what is wrong with the set up you have now, but I can say, if I have a choice, I want mine to stay as is.
my unqualified opinion.

Who's gonna write the php interface????
I probably will, as I have to convert it to community usage and will also want to drop the file storage needs and switch it to MySQL storage methods...
I'm not sure yet how I will implement it's usage though - those details will be ironed out as I look deeper into how it works internally...
After all these upgrades (hardware/network) that I'm working on, I will be freezing new development and upgrading all the functionality we already offer, along with some new CNC modules...

PS: Time to go watch X-Files!
Anything would be better than the current system, and the layout that you point is fine for me.
The question is how long will it take and will it interfere with more imporant updates ...

As it turns out, I am just now thinking I need an autoresponder.
I looked at the existing one and said to myself, "That looks hard, I think I will put it off until later."
Should I wait for the new one? It looks easy.
When do you think it will be ready?

2 points of issue...
1) I fear putting a release date on it since we have quite a few open projects that are on my plate that I want to close... Our highest priority is to complete the server and network upgrades and then *finally* close out the ApacheSSL (nightmare) installation and get it operational...
2) My post was mainly a troll to find a layout that would be acceptable... The hardest part of the design is always the presentation GUI to the customer... This gives me a chance to plant the seed in my mind so that when I am working on sub-systems that surround this, I have a forward path of design and configuration to target for...

ez-MLM? Wazzat? (Multi Level Marketing? http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif )
Are you saying you are thinking of scrapping the autoresponder you have now, and replacing it with a different, web version?
Just so long as you keep the autoresponder in some fashion, I'm game.

The AutoResponder we have now does the job, but requires a more involved setup/configuration by the customer...
It has some operational quirks that I don't like, and impedes writing a graphical front-end to it... Second issue would be the control files it creates, during operation, leave much to be desired... I've already modified it to get around this problem, but would like a different implementation methadology...
I don't have time to write one from scratch, so I'm collecting ideas about what one should look like... The url I posted is one, as well as looking at ListBot's and reverse engineering it... I may take both and merge the best of the two...

Andrew it looks good to me. Can't wait until its ready for open easy use.
I'm sure you've seen the interface at like ListBot right? Just mentioned since you sounded like you were looking for layout ideas.
Andrew thanks for all the hard work to make things simpler for us CGI-impaired people.
