Hello,
I am planning to use LWP to fetch secure pages (pages beginning with https://). This requires Crypt::SSLeay module and also OpenSSL (http://www.openssl.org/)
Is it possible to make this work?
The whole thing is explained in the readme file:
http://search.cpan.org/doc/GAAS/libwww-perl-5.48/README.SSL

This is exciting news! And, yes it should work. However, you should be prepared for a long, dark journey into the mapless labyrinth of SSL-dom.

Hello,
Last time I tried, I wasn't able to retrieve an https:// web page using SSL.
I have two accounts one on Astro and one on Phoenix.
Futurequest already have openssl installed on Astro, but not on Phoenix.
Crypt::SSLeay perl module is not installed on both of them..
Could you please install this perl module?
Thanks,

I have just installed Crypt::SSLeay on ASTRO and PHOENIX...
These modules carry no warranty as they are dependent on the RSA crypto libraries...
Sometimes I do not see all the posts that flow through our forums, and I was not notified (internally) of this module request...[nbsp][nbsp]In the future, please submit any perl module requests into our support system 'service@' as then I'm guaranteed to see the request...

Hi there -
I am also going to be working with Cyrpt::SSLeay, and my site is on the Dexter server.[nbsp][nbsp]I'd like to know if this is installed on the Dexter server as well, and how I would be able to check to confirm that.
Thanks.
