I am designing a web site for a restaurant that wants to have an ipix viewer (views of the restaurant) on the site.[nbsp][nbsp]I have done a little research thru the ipix site, but need some guidance.

From what I can tell you could buy software and camera equipment for 6-15 thousand dollars and do them yourself or you can have them take care of everything - $500 to send a photographer out take the shgots create 4 "tours" and mail you the cd.[nbsp][nbsp]I was told that there is no server software need to run the viewers.[nbsp][nbsp]

Question:
Does that mean I would just upload the contents of the CD to the futurequest softwares and work the viewer into a regular html page like its a java script applet?

Does anyone no how much server space this would take and if there is any reason that I can't host it at futurequest?

Is it easier to find out a way for iPix to host it (that is appearently an option as well)?

Finally, is there an alternative solution - does anyone know how to create them without having iPix do all of the work?

Thanks for your help in advance,

Evan Malter

Hi Evan,

I have not set up ipix but have used their software on other sites for home listings.[nbsp][nbsp]I have experienced cross platform/browser compatability and bug problems.

Have you considered using Quicktime VR (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/qtvr)?[nbsp][nbsp]With Q-time you can serve it almost anywhere and have greater control in the editing of your images.
