View Full Version : Events Calendar
I've been searching around for a good events calendar - one where I could enter multiple events for a given date.[nbsp][nbsp]I found one or two but none that fits exactly what I'm after.
Could anyone please suggest a good source, preferably Javascript? (And idiot-proof!)
Thanks and regards.

Not javascript, but I've had good luck with perlcal (see http://www.perlcal.com/[nbsp][nbsp]My implementation is at:

Grateful thanks to everyone who responded.[nbsp][nbsp]I'll check out those pointers.
Thanks again and regards to all.

There's one at ZDnet: http://www.zdnet.com/devhead/resources/scriptlibrary/javascript/time.html scroll down to page until you see the "events calendar" link. It also has a tutorial: http://www.zdnet.com/devhead/stories/articles/0,4413,2170545,00.html
I already mentioned it privately to Chris the other day, but for anyone else interested, I now have a demo posted of a calendar I put together:

You can log in with username/password:[nbsp][nbsp]admin/admin
Instead of re-typing all the features here, you can read them in the support forum (http://www.accountbiller.com/forum/viewtopic.php?topic=8&forum=18&0).
It is PHP4/MySQL, with a spattering of JavaScript.[nbsp][nbsp]I don't think that qualifies it as idiot-proof, but it should be very straight forward from a user's standpoint.[nbsp][nbsp]It also won't cost $365 (a dollar for every day of the year ... 365 days in a calendar?)...

edit: changed the forum link.

Let me throw a highly biased "bah!" out there.[nbsp][nbsp]:)[nbsp][nbsp]I haven't seen any remotely good calendar scripts out there, otherwise I probably wouldn't have bothered to write one.
