Hi Kickster!

Nice page you've got there.[nbsp][nbsp]A few comments to help you improve it: on your buttons with red text on white, you have "Sumbit it" instead of "Submit it".[nbsp][nbsp]Also, the buttons don't really match in terms of colour and the alignment of the text.[nbsp][nbsp]If you like, I could make you some new matching ones quickly and cheaply, email me if you're interested.

I like how you allow people to choose what search engines they'd like to submit to, and that you give the search engine's confirmation page.[nbsp][nbsp]We have a search engine submission script at http://www.leafwind.com/FreeResources/SearchEngines/urlsubmit.shtml
and it is set up in a similar way, so that the user chooses what search engines to submit to, and gets to see the results from each search engine. I think it's the only responsible way to do it.[nbsp][nbsp]

However, being responsible means more work, and the example is already on your page.[nbsp][nbsp]Many search engines change their "add url" field names regularly, "breaking" submission scripts like these.[nbsp][nbsp]I have to completely check ours at least every two weeks to see what's changed.[nbsp][nbsp]Last night I noticed Google no longer accepts submissions from my script, and I checked it on yours and found the same problem. :(

If I find the fix for Google today, I'll email it to you, or if you find it first, I'd really appreciate if you could email me at leafwind@leafwind.com .[nbsp][nbsp]We might be able to halve each other's work with maintaining these finickity projects that way!

Good luck with it!

Hi again Kickster!

I checked out the script you're using -- much nicer than the one I started with and hacked into something usable (how I learned most of the Perl I now know).[nbsp][nbsp]I see they've already got an update with the proper Google submission all ready for you to snag.[nbsp][nbsp]They're also using the same solution for it that I thought I tried last night -- when I went to tackle the problem, I realized I had uploaded my updated file into the wrong dir :o oops . . . anyway, all working now. :)

Sure, I haven't actually done buttons trades before, but I'm willing.[nbsp][nbsp]How about if I put it at the end of my submission script, featuring your full pay service?[nbsp][nbsp]Meantime, given the nature of your site, your visitors probably won't be too interested in another web designer, so I may make up a button featuring our Free Graphics area.[nbsp][nbsp]Where do you put your buttons?[nbsp][nbsp]Prefered dimensions?[nbsp][nbsp]Let me know.
