Subdomain Limits

Whether your FutureQuest package is the low-end Visionary or the expensive High Capacity, all the features lists seem to point to the same “extra domains” page showing a limit of five subdomains through DS-IRM. Where you want the subdomain to show different content from the main domain, content that’s actually in a subdirectory of your site here, apparently it’s not like mail accounts or ftp packages where you can just buy more slots. Am I missing anything?

So, one option to get more subdomains is to point somewhere else (not on FutureQuest) with the DS-ER option. There, your visitors upon arrival presumably are no longer seeing your subdomain or main domain name in the URL. I suppose that also negates addressing specific files or directories in the url containing the subdomain. Not optimal.

The limit of 5 IRMs does apply to all packages Visionary through High Capacity for server resource reasons.

The limit does not apply to MQS Packages as only your domains (full package and any IRs) would utilize that server.

The other alternative that has been utilized has been to order a second full package which would allow an additional 5 IRMs for that package.
