When I send directly to an aliased address from my script I get the email fine. But, when I send to the alias the email never shows up. I can't find any errors in any logs so I'm not sure what's up. Anyone seen this before?

Is the Alias forwarding to a Gmail address or another local address?

It's forwarding to a gmail address. person@mydomain.com -> me@gmail.com

When my contact form sends to person@mydomain.com I never get the email in my me@gmail.com box. But if my form sends directly to me@gmail.com I get the email just fine. Also, if I send mail to person@mydomain.com from a normal email client like outlook it gets redirected properly to me@gmail.com.

There is something weird with Gmail... If you send an email from a Gmail address to an Alias that forwards back to that same Gmail address you will never receive the message.

In past cases the mail logs show that Gmail accepts the message but they never deliver it. It was speculated that it was some form of anti-looping protection...

But in this case I'm sending from noreply@mydomain.com to person@mydomain.com.

You probably need to send an email to the Service desk with the specifics of the issue. Service@FutureQuest.net

We will need all the details including what script is involved as well as real email addresses involved.
