I discovered that I had to upload de the .php as "text" first (not "Binary" as the instructions say), access the file through html, assign the password. Once the password was assigned, I uploaded again the php as "BINARY" then everything worked fine. Trial and error. I would get a error the first time instead of asking for the password stating stating that I had to upload as "text" but if I left it as text after assigning the password, everything would seem to be and look fine but not even my e-Mails would work. After assigning the password and then re-uploading the .php as "binary" it worked fine.

I hope this helps somebody with the same problem.
