Small problem really, but when i open Mail I'm getting the message "Mail can't verify the identity of pop.(my url).com"
How do i get rid of this window permanently?
Thanks-
Melissa

It sounds like you're using SSL for email. As the certificate is issued to FutureQuest.net, your email client may throw an alert since the certificate's domain name does not match your domain name. Does the warning message give you the option to view and accept/trust the certificate?

Yes, and I always accept, but the message keeps appearing every time I quit Mail and then call it up again.

I have the same problem except w/outgoing mail. I don't use the account much for sending so I've just been clicking "connect" each time.

Mail tries to default to secure connections (it appears). In my testing, if you have it set to use the secure connections, then every time you start it up you're going to have to click "connect" on the Verify Certificate warning that pops up.
If you find this too annoying, you can choose to use the regular POP3 protocol which does not use a secure connection with a certificate.
To do so, go to Mail > Preferences
Choose the mailbox account.
Go to "Advanced" and uncheck the "use SSL" box.
If you save these settings, then next time you launch Mail it will be using the non-SSL (unsecure, traditional POP3) settings and it will not launch that error message any more.

Actually, I see a way to accept the certificate and remain on the SSL/secure protocol.
When the Verify Certificate warning window pops up, click on "Show Certificate".
There is an item in a tree called "Trust" and if you click on the triangle to expand it down, there is a drop-down item where you can choose to "Always Trust" this certificate.
If you do this, you should no longer see the warning window in the future.
