Associates Program script

A lot of sites are making money by joining Associates Programs like the one that Amazon.com offers to sell books (yes, I signed up for that one). What I'm wondering is whether there are any free Perl scripts out there that handle the business end of such a referral scheme. For instance, say I wanted to offer a referral program of my own. Can I find a free Perl script, or do I need to write it?

I'd overlooked that page. No free scripts, but something to think about. Also, I came across the Anaconda script which looks very useful for Amazon.com associates as it can turn your 5% referral fees into 15% by simulating Amazon's search engine and then adding your associates ID before handing the user off to Amazon. $40 for that script. Could be worth it...
