How do I set up the FQ autoresponder to react to subject line only?

If you don't want the original message included - set "Include original message" to No. You can use %S to include the original subject. Is that what you're looking for?

I think maybe they want to have one or more that respond based on the incoming subject.

Forgot about this thread. Yup thats it, I want to just have one email address that can be used as an autoresponder that reacts to different subject lines. Not sure if it can be done.

If you use the custom filter recipe of "Redirecting an Email Based on Subject" and set it to redirect email fitting that criteria to an email account with an autoresponder, that should work. You'll want to test and be sure you're getting the results you want.
