okay.. here is my dilema.. anyone got a fix or addvice? *please?*

At my greetings site, I want to have two drop down lists of selections of music,

here: <OPTION name="music" VALUE="whateverurl.midi">

now, i have to figure a way.. to have the two dropdown lists work together.. so they have the same "name".. the second drop down list will over ride the first one.

Is there a way to do this with input from a radio button for the input? So that the visitors do not have to worry about returning the one of the unused dropdown lists to "no music". And if so how? I have to have this field "music" as it is a hidden field for the final outcome of the greeting.

GOSH.. i hope I have explained this right. AND IF I LOST YA somewhere between your ISP and mine.. don't fret, as I did find a work around for now. http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

NEVER MIND.. MY little unofficial kid bro, Justin came to my rescue, hacked my script, and it is working to perfection, unless of course, you have a finicky MSIE broswer.. hehehe. http://www.aota.net/ubb/wink.gif

Thanks kiddo, you are the best! *hugs*

hehe - I have my file types all screwed up on my system, so <EMBED> doesn't work properly in IE... don't know why, but I need to leave the registry alone http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif But it works fine everywhere else though.

You act just like my real sister - and never mind the fire hydrant http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

Actually, I think I got the *.mid file type messed up when trying to associate all sound files with VDJ - and I messed some IE extentions up too. If I click on a Real Audio file in IE, VDJ loads up... oops! It works, but takes too long to load.

But the script performs as it should. It's even a backwords compatible hack - you can use it either way http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif Only took about 10 lines though.
