My site is kci-civil.net. When I google "kci-civil.net", the title is mis-spelled it reads KCI: Engineering & Land Serveying. "Serveying" should be "Surveying".

What gives, I can't find where it's mis-spelled anywhere in my code or looking around CNC.

Is this a typo that may have occured while I was developing the site and now google is sticking with it? That's the only thing I can think of. Please help!

Other than this one problem, I'd be completely ecstatic with the web designing process.

Thank you...

That's probably it.

I searched your site for the word "land" and the correct title showed in the result. All cached versions seem to have been cached at the same time so I can't tell when the title was fixed. I assume all results will be fixed eventually.

Google eventually fixed the problem a few weeks after the original post, but I was stuck with a bad mis-spelling/typo for a couple months total.

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, sometime there's a time lag between the changes you made in your site and for it to show up at the search engines. There were times I did a search on my site and the results showed an older version of my site's description or something to that sort.

I think that if you register your website with Google Webmaster Tools you can have it re-spider the site or update cache, or some such thing.
