New here, ready to sign up for FutureQuest

account. I found you through a Dreamweaver Tutorial done by a fellow that loves Futurequest. It suits my budget as well as the needs I know about at this point. I am a little gunshy because I was on another site that was a pain, well, it was a free site and you do get what you pay for. Anyway, I wanted to ask someone if they might tell me how long it will take to be able to be set up. I have to have my domain name transferred and, besides that, just sign up.

Well, hosting packages are guaranteed to be activated within 24 hours of receiving your confirmed order. Usually they are faster than that, but that is our outside-window guarantee.

As far as transferring your domain... you don't actually transfer the domain, as FutureQuest is not a domain registrar. What you need to do is simply change the name servers to point to FutureQuest. Information on this is given at the following link:

Once you change the name servers, a period known as propagation will begin. Propagation typically lasts from about 24-48 hours, but you can being working on your website immediately even before propagation begins or finishes, or even before you change the name servers. In that case you use the IP address assigned to your hosting package for access, and instructions and details are given in the Activation Letter that we email to upon account activation.
