What: Mail Server Emergency Maintenance
When: Immediately
Duration: 5 minutes
As previously noted, PT06 has been having some severe speed degradations. I have narrowed the problem down to a strange cache eviction issue and have determined that 64-bit kernels do not appear to have this problem.
I have prepared a new kernel for PT06 and will be rebooting it shortly to put it into place. Total down time should be very short this time, as no fsck should be necessary.
If your domain is assigned to the PT06 server all email services will be temporarily unavailable. To determine if your domain uses PT06, log in to your CNC and go to the Server Info link and check the POP Toaster assigned to your domain. No mail will be lost, either mail already stored on the server or mail delivered to your domain during the maintenance.
Thank you for your patience as we perform these changes.
