I am creating a "members area" (login/password). I think I have that part figured out with PHP/mySQL tutorial.
In this member area our ultimate goal will be for them to be able to search in one or all seven areas. Let's say someone wants to find any information on "zinc" in 3 of the areas (Education & Training; Commercialization; Research of Interest) (I have the seven areas setup in a table with radio buttons)
Education & Training is a database
Commercialization will be pdf files
Research of Interest will be pdf files
The results will show on 1 page w/link to download pdf, if available.
My question: where do I store the PDF's so they are can searched.
Also, I downloaded "Search Engine Builder Standard" to test if this could assist me; but I still don't know where to store the pdf files. Has anyone used this software from www.aleadsoft.com?
Any help or advice will be very much appreciated.:dunno:
