I need to find out how to setup multiple email alias'. Thus, I do not want to set up another POP account, but use the same pop account for an different email that goes out to 4 different people.

Could use some help on this, please.

Hi there, I'm Sandy's Beta Bites partner in crime. Her original post might be a little difficult to follow. We don't really want to use ANY POP account. We want to set up an alias that sends to multiple external email addresses. IE:

staff@betabites.com-->penny@foxberry.net AND scud@gamegirlz.com AND bergel@concentric.net AND lockup@betabites.com

Thanks!

We refer to this as alias stacking -- a feature not yet in the CNC

What we would need you to do is email the request to Support@FutureQuest.net and we'll get that setup for you http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

So like, couldn't you just set up the CNC to take email addresses in the form of:

penny@foxberry.net; bergel@concentric.net; lockup@betabites.com?

Or is this just a "later on" kinda feature?

Thanks again! Request mailed as requested. :P

To be honest with you -- there was a time during the pre-beta stage that we did have this feature in the mail area of the CNC.... the result was the testers breaking their email aliases and/or feeling like the CNC was broken -- the reason was failure to follow the directions of how to add them in.

In the name of keeping support in that area to a minimum we decided to leave the feature out until we could add it back in a separate area and make it even more simplistic to add and delete various addy's from the list... so it will be a while before that comes back onto the CNC.

The goal of the CNC is to make things as simple as possible -- which of course means the adding of features takes a bit longer...

At any rate -- Your aliases are set up http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
