Lils Guestbook Blues

Please help me understand why the guestbook does not work.
The error message is
Content-type: text/html

I am sorry, but I was not able to find the HTML guestbook file
defined by the variable guestbookreal in the setup file. The
current value I have is
/big/dom/xlils/www/NONIE/GuestBook/guestbook.html. please make sure the path and permissions are correct.
I do not understand the path and am not allowed to change the permissions.
