I'm awaiting internic's blessing to move to futurequest. When I finally get to move in, I want to set up a registration system that will automate much of the incredibly time-consuming process used currently for registrations on my site. Is there anything that would allow users to fill out a form and when they hit "submit" it would (don't laugh) become a web page? Think those on-line page editors at the free sites, only with data from a form instead of pictures, etc. Also, I thought I'd be able to work out a database setup with front-page 98 but see I can't use that here (am I understanding right - I can't use front page forms?). I have been searching the various cgi sites - I can find javascripts that instantly write web pages, and I can of course find a billion forms, but not the two combined. I need to set up something that takes the form I'm using right now (at www.ior.com/~laswi/register2.htm) and makes it into a page like the ones in the registry itself (like the one at http://www.ior.com/~laswi/registry/pre1940/1881form.htm. We've made a couple thousand of these pages in a year and I really need a better/faster way to get the job done. The volunteers are burning out too fast! Any ideas would be appreciated. I am not qualified to be in the advanced programming forum, but if I can read it and ask questions about it, I can probably get it done. thanks

Terra, yep, only no graphics, and there are several checks/radio buttons, etc. on the form which I assume wouldn't be a problem. Cool! thanks for your help, now can you point me to these lovely add-ons?

I think you will find something to meet your needs within this list at http://www.cgi-resources.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/Editing_Web_Pages/ the page Terra showed you uses HomePageMaker1.1

You may also want to view http://www.cgi-resources.com/Programs_and_Scripts/Perl/File_Management/

Hope this helps
