I've managed to get a site up and running (and getting good feedback) but am looking to make it more... professional, I guess. I'd also like to add some widgets and offer the oppurtunity for site registration and be notified of "news of interest." The problem, I am such a noob!

I had to use two (2) different site builders just to come up with something I could stomach till I had time to invest (mostly, because I am soooo ignorant.) I'm thinking I need something that includes widgets such as a CMS to make it easier. But CMS Matrix has over 200 listed. Does anyone have any suggestions.

Things I want to do: I do have capability to accept service requests online but want it to appear more "seamless" than a link linking to another website.
Training Calander for employees.
Newsletter appealing to particular interests such as "how to save energy."

Current website: comfort-central.com

Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!

If you need a CMS with good support, well-known examples are the user-friendly ExpressionEngine, or the powerful Acquia (free Drupal with paid support).
