Hello Everyone,
We have a off-site web page that we would like a subdomain attached to. I saw the DS-ER option for subdomains which looks to be what we want. The setup asks, "What is the IP address OR host name to redirect to". I thought that FutureQuest would need both external IP address and the name of the subdomain in order to set this up. Am I missing something?

Thanks for the help.

The setup asks, "What is the IP address OR host name to redirect to". I thought that FutureQuest would need both external IP address and the name of the subdomain in order to set this up. Am I missing something?We do need both the subdomain name (such as like "forums" as in forums.yourdomain.tld) and either the IP address or the hostname of where forums.yourdomain.tld should be pointed to.

The order form asks for:
* Subdomain name:
* IP address or hostname to point to:

If you're using QuestAdmin to place the order, keep going to the next screen and you will see where we ask you for the subdomain name.

Does this help to clarify?

Thanks for the info Melissa! I guess I just needed to go further in the setup process. Thanks again.

Hi Steve,

Not a problem at all. Glad that helped. :)
