Just wondering if there's any add-on modules one can install to implement some form of push email capability on FutureQuest? I understand that iPhone supports MS Exchange's ActiveSync as well as Apple's MobileMe services. But is there a way to add ActiveSync functionality on our email server? Don't want to add another email service or do any porting to Mail2Web.

No push services directly on FQ. You simply need to set your phone up to check for email frequently. If you have an email address for the phone, you can set up a filter that stores (on the FQ server) & forwards email to the phone.

Thanks for the reply.
As an alternative, is there a way to setup a filter or some other mechanism for my account's main email address so that any emails delivered to it would be forwarded a copy to another address while still keep a copy in its intended address.
I note that if I set up the forwarding setting on my main email account, the email would just get forwarded and not leave a copy locally. I'd like to have both a local copy as well as having a copy sent out to another address (for push notification).
Ideas?

There is a custom filter recipe provided in the knowledgebase that sounds like what you're looking for:

Look at the first one listed under "FORWARDING EMAIL COPIES".
Hope that helps.

Perfect! Just the thing I was looking for. Didn't realise it could be that simple. Thanks a million. :yeah:
