different show ip addon for firefox?

Anyone use a different show ip addon for firefox than this one: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/590

I used this for years, but all of a sudden if I enable it firefox randomly crashes. Disable it and all is well. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling and same thing.

(other addons active are google toolbar for firefox, reloadevery 3.0.0, switchproxy tool 1.4.1, tab sidebar 1.1.6.1, talkback 2.0.0.11, web developer 1.1.5, and fasterfox 2.0.0)

I miss seeing the IP of a current site though on my status bar. Any similar addon that anyone is using?

(it might be the tab sidebar addon that conflicts with showip)

Edit: nope - even with the tab sidebar addon disabled (which is the only one I added in the last month) showip still causes firefox to be unstable for me.)
