FTP Question

Hi this is a pre-sales question. Is it possible to have ftp access limited if I set up a secondary ftp user.


Looking for solution to limit ftp user so that they can:

A. View all files in their directory
B. Upload any files they wish into their directory
C. NOT be able to download any files.

(Was wondering if this could be limited by bandwidth if not directly possible. IE: limit bandwidth of downloads to nothing, but allow bw uploading. Want user to be able to view files in their directory, just not be able to download anything. )

Hello,

There are three types of extra FTP users you can setup:

Read/Write
Read Only
Write Only

These all can be limited to a specific directory as well as noted in these Knowledgebase Articles:

Upload-only FTP accounts cannot see the file listing of the directory.
