Andrew,

Thanks for offering to install a guestbook in my domain cgi-bin. Please do that.

There must be a lot of problems associated with moving a system from one platform to another. I am used to projects were you load the system onto the new platform, run it in parallel with the old one for 4 - 6 weeks, gradually loading up the new system.

To be able to move a system to a new platform and get it working 99%, you are GOOD.

Not a problem, we all live and learn... You have shown me that there can be duplicate topics within the same forum... I did not expect as much... Hmmmm...

I will have the GuestBook operational for you by 6:00pm EST... http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif

*blush* -- thank you for the confidence... Within my mind, I had rebuilt the server several times - contemplating what would work, and what wouldn't... I would not have known till I actually did the changeover for the 2 hours I took the server down to make the transition... During those 2 hours, the transition/changes just started to fall into place, with all the design becomming reality... The following 4 hours dealt with the little gremlins that surfaced and thusly isolated and fixed... Since then, this server has been running full steam - and without a glitch... I am *extremely* happy with how well this new architecture is working out, and the enhanced capability it provides for allowing my dreams to become a virtual reality...
