Problems with gmail and confirmation?

I have someone trying to join a list I manage. She says that she's not receiving the confirmation message. She has a gmail address. Are there any problems with gmail?

Erica,

Gmail can be pretty aggressive in filtering and have you had them check their spam and trash folders and see if the confirmation ended up there?

Yes. She said she checked her spam folders and didn't see anything. I sent another confirmation and this got through so she's on the list. Whew.
