Rimmer: Step up to red alert!
Kryten: Sir, are you absolutely sure? It does mean changing the bulb.
I was trying to watch Red Dwarf with the Netflix online viewer but it won't work on my Vista machine.
I can watch Netflix online movies with my 4-year-old Windows XP pc, but it doesn't work on a brand new Vista machine.
Movies start normally on the Vista machine: it tests the video performance, checks the connection speed, buffers some video, then plays fine for up to a minute. Then it says something like, "Your network connection has slowed. Changing settings. Expected to start again in 58 minutes".
I disabled TCP/IP Auto Tuning at the suggestion of Netflix tech support, but it didn't help.
Both machines go through the same Linksys router and SpeedStream DSL modem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tom
