I use NetObjects Fusion and have a potential client who may want to add updates to her site herself.

If she doesn't have NOF installed how could she do this?

Grateful for any advice.

Depends how clueful she is!

1 Use notepad and an FTP client :)
2 Invest $50 in NOF ;)
3 You could install a page update script which she could access via a web page. Have a look at ArticleMaster (http://data2design.com/site/amaster/amaster_4.html) which seems at first glance to do what you need, or try a Google (http://www.google.com) search on some combination of "Web Based" "HTML editor" script"

I have a client who has little clue HTML-wise, but is able to make text edits to her site using a function like our File Manager in CNC (she's not on FQ though, wahhhh.)[nbsp][nbsp]I made sure to put comment tags in the code that said <!--update below here--> and then <!--end updates--> where she should stop tinkering.[nbsp][nbsp]

I use this for a customer feedback form that sends customer testimonials to her email, and then she can edit (read: spellcheck LOL) their comments and paste them between the comment tags to post them to her site.[nbsp][nbsp]Silly to pay me $$/hour to do that for her.

Hi Chris :)

Here is a link which may be of use if your client is familiar with MS Word : http://www.videoproductions.com.au/px/customer_update.html

Ephox have an excellent remote editor, "EditLive", but it's not free: www.ephox.com (http://www.ephox.com)

Finally - check these links, there maybe something here you can use:

Hope this is a bit of help :)

I *highly* recommend Page Publisher by Interactive Tools:
http://www.interactivetools.com/products/pagepublisher/

It's $99, and worth every penny.[nbsp][nbsp]:)
