View Full Version : Color Converter
Greetings..
For those of us not quite ready to tackle mod_rewrite, qmail, write our own php scripts, track down mySQL syntax errors, etc..[nbsp][nbsp](wow, the forums have become very advanced!).. I thought I would share something I've had bookmarked for a while, and have found it to be a handy dandy little page. :)

I hope someone can find it of use.
Thanks,

I like this one, too.

And here is my "Two Cents" worth of a contribution.
Color Cop, I like this as it's not web based, it's FREE and it's easy to use especially to quickly obtain the specific color code for anything you see on the web, without viewing the source code.
This is also very useful in determining a specific color within a graphic as well.

- Hmmm...[nbsp][nbsp]Notice I managed to work my Favorite word FREE into another one :P -
Not exactly in the spirit of the topic, but...[nbsp][nbsp]Being one who much prefers Paint Shop Pro over Adobe's much more heralded products, I'm continually amazed at how many different methods people have to employ to do something as simple as pick a color by hex code or get the hex code from a color in an image.[nbsp][nbsp]PSP makes it a trivial process; Adobe makes it seem like rocket science...[nbsp][nbsp]The online pickers are nice, but I doubt any one of them can easily accomplish each related task.[nbsp][nbsp]Besides, I'd much rather open PSP in a split second (as opposed to 10-15 seconds to open just about any program made by Adobe) than search for a bookmark and hope the site loads today.[nbsp][nbsp]:)
