Is it possible for me to have one page 'secure' to allow my clients to enter their credit card details?
Can anyone tell me how to do this or better still point to where I can follow instruction?
Thanks In Advance
Marty
Hello Marty..
I think you'll find everything you need (and more) on our tutorial page located here:

Thank you for your reply Paul,
However I have read through this section but I am only looking for ONE page to allow clients to send me their credit card details in a secure format. I don't wish to open an account and process the card online. I will do this once they send me their details.
Is there a way to create a secure page only, no merchant accounts etc??
Regards
Marty
Once your account has been set up with your certificate (shared or otherwise), creating a single secure page is easy. Within your 'www' directory will be a 'Secure_Server' directory. You should place any pages that you want accessed over SSL in this directory.
Accessing these pages are as simple as https://yourdomain.com/yourpage.html or https://xyourdomain.merchantquest.net/yourpage.html.
Your entire site does not have to reside in the Secure_Server directory, only the pages you want access to via SSL. As for securely obtaining credit card info, https will only transmit data securely from the user's browser to the web server. If you want the information e-mailed to you, you will have to investigate the PGP form mailer script covered elsewhere. If you want to save the information to your account, you will have to investigate methods of encrypting the information before you do this.

Hi again Marty..
Included in that link was:
http://www.aota.net/E-Commerce/owncert.php3[nbsp][nbsp]which helps you determine if you need (or want) your own SSL certificate. If not, you could always use the "shared" certificate available as a FutureQuest Value Added Service for a one time fee of $50.00. (Is there a way to create a secure page only, no merchant accounts etc??) Yes, you can have SSL setup on your account without having a merchant account, though for more ideas in this area.. you may wish to drop down to our "E-Commerce" forum with additional questions..
Thanks!
Paul

Matt,
You mentioned a PGP encrypted mail form.[nbsp][nbsp]I've been browsing both the FutureQuest and AOTA sites and haven't seen the reference you mentioned.
I've just started setting up a site and am looking for just the functionality you mentioned.
If you could let me know where you found this information, I would be most appreciative.
Thankx,

Debbie, Paul,
I have read through this section, thats for the information.
http://www.merchantquest.com/pgp/
I am not an advanced developer.
Can you assist me in having this page developed? or reccommend someone who can?
Regards
Marty
Marty:
You can grab the latest version of the code from here:
http://rsmarketing.com/pgp
And the instructions for installing on FQ servers here:
http://rsmarketing.com/pgp/fq/fqsetup.html
Some people have been able to follow the instructions and install without a hitch while others have problems that are difficult to resolve (due to PGP's stubbornness).
You may want to give the instructions a try. If you run into problems drop me an email offlist. I can install the script and setup the PGP keys for 1 hour development time ($100).
