Anyone familiar with SpamCop know of another site that does the same?

For years I have used SpamCop ( www.spamcop.com ) to interrogate mail headers and return an e-mail address to which I should send a spam complaint. For a few months now, it hasn't returned an e-mail address. Instead of an e-mail address I can send a complaint to, all it returns to me now is an IP address that is useless to me.

Does anyone know of another site that does what SpamCop used to do so well?

Also, I see no place at SpamCop's site to advise them of a problem.

Thanks again for the input; but, after some perusal of spamcop.net, there doesn't seem to be any connection between spamcop.com and spamcop.net--other than the similar domain name.

SpamCop.net is the long-time spam reporting service that I believe you were thinking of? They are the ones that run the well-known and popular blacklist.

SpamCop.com is not what you were thinking of (I believe?). And you are correct that there is no connection between SpamCop.net and SpamCop.com.

You could check the IP's WHOIS (http://www.arin.net/whois/index.html), and contact the listed abuse address. Personally, I don't bother reporting outside of English speaking North America, except where I'm sufficiently fluent in the language of the provider.

You may find it easier to use the tools at the Network Abuse Clearinghouse (http://abuse.net/).
