Hello, new person on the block here. I'd appreciate some
information here from more knowledgeable folks.
Checking my Website logs today, I noticed a couple of rather
strange entries:
204.123.28.33 - - [10/Mar/2001:09:24:08 -0500] "GET /hyenas/'+url+' HTTP/1.0" 404 8034 "-" "Mercator-2.0"
204.123.28.33 - - [10/Mar/2001:09:24:13 -0500] "GET /hyenas/'+curl+'&'+qs+' HTTP/1.0" 404 8034 "-" "Mercator-2.0"
Not only do I not know what a "Mercator-2.0" browser is
(they're a software company, apparently), but what on
earth is this '+url+' and '+curl+'&'+qs+' ? What does it mean?
I couldn't even find it in "Webmaster in a Nutshell".
