My pages don't show up

I have uploaded my Front Page files as it said in the tutorial. I can see them in my CNC, but all that comes up is the temp. page that I had while parked.
Found a similar Q&A - "The two most common reasons for this problem are either failure to place an index file within your /www/ directory and/or failure to upload the files into your /www/ directory".

This is where I am stuck - how do I do this?
Please can someone help?

If it's a new domain and/or hosting package, it might just be a matter of domain propagation keeping you from seeing your newly added page(s).[nbsp][nbsp]Try accessing it by IP address, if you can.

What is the name of the file(s) you placed in the /www/ directory?

The files I uploaded from Front Page are all on a page (Folder?) called <Index of /big/dom/x1stanchor/gillg:>
Bob tells me that this is one folder ABOVE the www one where they should be.
Do you know how I can move them?

Hooray - itis fixed. Writing back to Bob I realised that I was trying to <copy> the files instead of move them.
Tried <move> and SUCCESS!
