Okay since this was a gray area on where to post figured here was okay.

Well after recently sending someone an e-mail in regards to my site I got a message back that I supposedly sent like 10 copies of it to the person. My e-mail program (Outlook Express) only shows one copy. The person seems truly upset about this and is getting on my nerves. Has anyone else run into this?

Is it me personally, OE4.xx, qmail or the person's ISP which is prodigy? I do tend to send my e-mail all at once (usually like 10-20 seperate e-mails) might that cause that? Never had this complaint before and no idea how to deal with it. Any thoughts welcome on this.

From FQuest's QMail standpoint, what it will do is send the same email to both addresses... If you received one, then he should have only received one... QMail would not have sent to both addresses and then send multiple to the second one as it is tied together and not breakable...

Hope this makes sense...

That's what I would suspect Andrew. Could be the relay on their end then maybe?

Just like I have upon receiving my e-mail sometimes get double e-mails myself off the server but think it's due to my connection or something perhaps. (The duplicates aren't resends on the sender's part either, checked it out).

Leave it to me to find the loopholes that only apply to me...lol http://www.aota.net/ubb/smile.gif
