Hello, Just arrived @ FQ!
I have 3 domain names registered with easyspace.com (in the UK).
I've just transferred iserfrance.com to FQ from easyspace's control panel but I have had no other data to enter than Futurequest.net, there was no possibility to enter FQ's DNS 1/2/3 IP addresses.
Now I've done that transfer and paid (£15) I would like to know if I need to transfer the other domains to FQ, bearing in mind that I need to have:
iserfrance.com+co.uk IRO
allofrance-helpline.com+co.uk IRO as well as IRM (with iserfrance.com as main hosted domain)
ilang.co.uk IRM (with iserfrance.com as main hosted domain)
-------
I hope my explanations are clear, just in case I try again: I want a main domain: iserfrance.com to which iserfrance.co.uk will be redirected (IRO), and allofrance-helpline.com/co.uk + ilang.co.uk as IRM internal mapping to this main domain: iserfrance.com.
Is this possible? and do I need to have all my domains transferred to FQ? or only the main one: iserfrance.com and the others (IROs and IRMs) could stay with easyspace.com or need to be transferred to FQ as well?
thanks for your answer.

The entries should be.
NS1.FutureQuest.net
NS2.FutureQuest.net
NS3.FutureQuest.net

Most (if not all) Domain registrars no longer require the Name Server IP addresses and as long as you have the three named Name Servers entered you should be good...

As far as any IRs, you would first Order the appropriate IR package for that domain from us and then change the Name Servers for those domains just as above...

Hope this helps,
Bob

Dear Bob,
thanks a lot for your prompt answer! didn't expect anything so soon, 10min only and across the whole Atlantic Ocean!
in fact I've just realised that I mistaken 'domain transfer' and 'DNS management' buttons within "easyspace.com" control panel! my fault.
I've rectified with easyspace's support staff over the phone and now I can proceed to redirect to FQ's DNS asa I've received the answer letter from them following my order for a full hosting package earlier this morning.
Thanks a lot, I've bothered you for nothing, still I understand that I only need to redirect each of my domain names to FQ's NS1/2 through their 'DNS management button' and this without any charge from them!

Not a bother whatsoever :)

You would change each of the domain's name servers to the FutureQuest name servers to have them resolve here however for them to work you do have to Order IRs for them from us.

Thanks again Bob, I'm hoping to be able to redirect to FQ's ns this morning, as long as I've electricity supplied, cause of works being done in my place.
Have a good day in Florida. One of my neighbours if spending half of the year in Florida, she's going back soon.
I find FQ is great!
must go & have some work done...
bye
