I'm getting errors when accessing my QuestMail.

ERROR: Connection dropped by IMAP server.
Query: STATUS "INBOX" (MESSAGES UNSEEN RECENT)

Now, I've been getting a ton of mail delivery failure notices from invalid accounts at my domain to invalid accounts at various random domains.

Sign of a virus.

But who has the virus?

I'm think someone has me in their address book and the virus on their system is using it to fabricate email address to send the SPAM from. This has happened to me before.

Since I'm not running my mail client, I'm pretty sure it's not coming from me. That's why I'm trying to use QuestMail rather than my Outlook. I want to be sure the virus is not me.

I have OfficeScan and I keep it up to date and it scans the system periodically. I don't think I'm the real source of the problem.

My problem now is I can't get into my INBOX to delete any non-delivery notices that may have built up in there.

The current QuestMail difficulties you are experiencing are due to the PT02 problems we are experiencing at the moment. Please reference this announcement:

The delivery failure notices are unrelated and most likely not due to a virus. Reference this Knowledgebase article for details on what is most likely going on there:

If your catch-all email address is enabled, you may want to consider disabling it. That would do a lot to prevent you from receiving these delivery failure notices (if they are being sent from email addresses that are not valid on your domain). Reference this KB article:
