Hello you helpful people :) you helped me back in Feb to make some changes to my site. Well I really need help now! somehow, a spammer made a comment on my site that was actually links to vulgar pictures and I had a heck of a time getting it off the site. Anyway Im not sure what happend but my pictures are gone on the front page and I was not smart enough to make a back up. So I have a simple and silly question how do I put a picture on my front page? here is the pick I want on the front page
http://turtlerescueusa.com/gallery/Rehabs/ch4
its more important then ever i do everything right now, I just got approved to be a non profit!
thanks you nice people :)
Amanda
Amanda,
Without testing not sure how it would look but...
Right before <!-- End Main Content --> you could add this:
<img src="http://turtlerescueusa.com/albums/Rehabs/ch4.jpg"></img>
I would make a copy of your index.html file named indextest.htm and then test your code in the test file and once you have it the way you want then copy the code to the index.html file to make it live.

I think I fixed it but I still cant tell when I type in website I see no changes? does it take awhile?
Hi again,
If you make a change to a page and you can't see the change when you view it in your browser that usually is the result of Browser cache and you would force a browser reload/refesh by using SHIFT+reload, CTRL+F5 (or in some cases Shift+CTRL+Reload) to see the changes.
I see a Turtle image now on http://turtlerescueusa.com/ , looks Hungry or mad ;)

Some very nice pics on your site, Amanda. Good work that you are doing. Up in these parts, I often see turtles on the road, which I always stop to move to one side or the other.

If someone here can help you with a problem, it's only because someone, somewhere took the time to explain it to your Helper du Jour too. Nobody was born knowing anything about building a website. Keep up the good work - the learning curve is steep, but the reward is great too.

I think that's one hungry turtle aiming for a flower snack conveniently perched atop a cactus!
Amanda, keep up the good work--it's important and appreciated! My wife is one of a number of licensed wildlife rehabbers at Fox Valley Wildlife Center (www.fvwc.org) in northern Illinois (and she's on their Board as well). I help build cages and document with pix the work they do, and am just starting to handle the day to day ops of their website and PR efforts. Don't know anything much about databases or PayPal links yet but we'll get there.
