I've located and downloaded the guestbook directions, script and html pages. I've edited the guest.cgi script, and see the remote cgi-bin on my server.
Where do I put the guest.cgi to upload it? I use dreamweaver, and understand the concept of uploading html pages, but script text uploading has me stumped.
thanks

An easy way to upload just a single file (or a few files) is to use the CNC File Manager:

ok, i saved the guest.cgi, and uploaded it and now it's on both the remote and local file system for my site. i made the sign and guestbook pages, by copying and editing the html. But when i try to 'sign guestbook' it goes to 404 page.
so, script error?

Make sure the file extension you've specified in the script is the file extension of the guestbook html file.

ok, uploaded all...and the signing works, and sends me the email. yea! but it doesn't add what someone said to the guestbook....inch by inch

I'm seeing the entries. (Since you've switched things around, look at guestbook.htm now.)
