This site I did the general setup and layout for, but the client is providing much of the text and tweaking it himself.[nbsp][nbsp]It's still under development.[nbsp][nbsp]He says when he's browsing through the site, sometimes some of the border images don't "re-load".[nbsp][nbsp]I've checked it on four different computers with different browser versions and I can't re-create the problem.[nbsp][nbsp]I don't know if he's added something that is causing a problem or what.[nbsp][nbsp]If some kind souls would take a look at it and see if they can see the problem I'd appreciate it.[nbsp][nbsp]Also, if you see a reason for the problem I'd greatly appreciate it![nbsp][nbsp]:)
Thanks!

I did not spot any errors, and everything looks great to me on Netscape & IE. The only thing I can suggest for his problem is to try using full image urls, but I doubt that is the problem.
Another possibility is that he was having connection problems with his ISP and those images failed to transfer.
Do you know what version & browser he is having the problems in?

Ditto for me -- no problems with Netscape 4.5 on Win NT.[nbsp][nbsp]Have you conisered setting the page margins to zero so the grey border is up against the edge?

He says he's using IE5, and that it occurs randomly.[nbsp][nbsp]He will look at a page, go to another page, go back to the first page and an image won't display.
I was going to play with setting the margins to zero once I checked into this problem.[nbsp][nbsp]I still have some fine tuning I want to do with it, and that's one thing I'll try.
Thanks for the look-see.[nbsp][nbsp]:)

It sounds like either a problem with his connection or possibly a memory issue. Sometimes if you are low on RAM, weird things happen (in both IE and Netscape)... but most likely it's an issue with his connection, or maybe a combination of that and his cache settings...

Sorry for the dumb question (I know, there are no dumb questions there are[nbsp][nbsp]only dumb answers) but I can't figure out how to set margins to zero and I use Adobe GoLive for designing stuff and know hardly any html.
So, how DO you set margins to zero?[nbsp][nbsp]Knowing that will solve all sorts of headaches for me.
Thanks

I'm shooting for Demi-god status, but I'll settle with being a hero for now.[nbsp][nbsp]:)
One hint: when you're unsure of an html technique on a page you have seen, just look at the source code.[nbsp][nbsp]99.9% of the time you will be able to find the answer (although it often requires cleaning up the code to be able to make any sense of it, which is also a very good thing to get the hang of) -- that's how I've learned virtually all of what I know.

It's nice to know that I'm not the only one learning html through the back door....

I experience this problem too from time to time (though not with your site).
It's definitely due to connection speed, and seems to happen only when loading graphic-intensive pages.
I suggest you just ignore it!
