I have a list of about 90 subscribers. I have a text file that lists them like this, including the brackets around the email address.

Firstname Lastname <email address>

This is how it was formated for a majordomo list server. Can I just cut and past the entire list as such or do I need to delete everything except the email address? BTW, I'm using the ezMLM Batch Confirmation Subscriber Script to submit the intial list.

Another question...
This is not a huge deal, but is there a way to circumvent the alphabatized order. I would prefer to organize it according to departements. It's much easier for me to work with it this way.

Thanks

You'll need to supply just the email addresses, like:
joe@example.com
frank@example.net
joan@example.org

and so on.

Just to mention, it is advised to send a test to email addresses you control before sending the "final". This will help to ensure that you're happy with the results and understand the process.

When you ask about changing the listing, I assume you mean when viewing the full subscriber listing in the CNC? If so, alphabetical is the only choice at this time.

I've tested the batch confirm script and all seems to be ok. BTW, it was very easy to set up and the instructions were easy to understand.

I was just hoping I wouldn't have to keep a seperate text file of names that match the email address. But it's not that important and won't be that much work to keep track of.

Thanks!
