Work around for Shell to Forward and be POP

Hi -

Is there a work-around to have copies of email sent to the shell account forward ed, as well as using it as a pop account?

Hello,

You can add a Custom Filter that will accomplish that to any POP email account.

"FORWARDING EMAIL COPIES
Forwarding Email to One Address - forwards a copy of the incoming email to the address emailaddy@example.com. Standard delivery is not affected, so the email will still be delivered to the original recipient as well."

Thanks Bob, I didnt realise the shell address could accept custom filters.

The only real difference between the shell email address and any email address you create is that you cannot delete it and it cannot be an email alias stack.

Otherwise it is the same as any other email address as far as adding built-in or custom filters or even Auto-responders and Spam Assassin...
