Oh, man,
[nbsp][nbsp]Am I giving this board a lot of business. I created an announcement list using the FQ easy method, where you more or less fill in the blanks with domain name, etc., and a form for people to fill out on the website: richardlundeen.com.[nbsp][nbsp]When I filled in my own e-mail address, my own personal address at my home, not the FQ address, just to see if everything worked, I got a 404 file not found notice. I have a file named thankyou.htm, where it's supposed to redirect, but this doesn't work. After several hours, I am at a dead end.

Well, this is Richard again. I checked my e-mail, and I got requests for confirmations to the form I filled out to be added to my own announcement list, so that much of it is working. The problem must be after the mlm receives the form input.

Your form is redirecting to http://www.richardlundeen.com/thankyou.html - you will need to create this file, because it is (obviously) not there... If you did create a "thankyou.html" file, make sure you have it in the /www/ directory, and make sure you are spelling the filename with the correct CaSe.

Hoo boy,
[nbsp][nbsp]Are dese tings ever fussy. My file was named "thankyou.htm" not "thankyou.html". Putting an L on the end made the difference. Now it works like a charm. It never occured to me because my index file is "index.htm", no L. I wonder if that might have happened when I uploaded the thankyou file. I didn't realize a file would even work with four characters after the dot.
