Okay, I have followed all the instructions given at the CNC about SMTP and POP3 and login names and still I cannot get the e-mail going to my domain pop accounts.[nbsp][nbsp]I'm using Outlook Express 4.5 for Mac.[nbsp][nbsp]Is there some magic potion I'm missing or what?
Thanks...
What type of error message, if any, are you receiving?[nbsp][nbsp]Let us know what is going wrong and we may be able to offer some advice :)

Ooops...that would make sense wouldn't it![nbsp][nbsp]I'm used to working in an office where people know nothing about computers and I can just make up reasons for why things aren't working! ;)
On my Mac at home I get an error and it says "Mail could not be received at this time."[nbsp][nbsp]There's a little more to it but I'll have to check it when I get back home.
On the PC here I get:
There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'srhoffman.com', Server: 'srhoffman.com', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR authorization failed', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92
Okay, just added the xsrhoffman-..... bit and it worked on the PC here.[nbsp][nbsp]I think I've tried that at home but I'll tweak some more.
Jeesh...these machines are out to embarass me.[nbsp][nbsp]As soon as I ask a question, they start working again. ;)
Thanks, I'll let you know if I still have trouble.

Kat, there is a tutorial on setting up emails on a Mac somewhere around here.
If you search the forums for macintosh, you'll probably find it.
It tutorial didn't work for me, but a few Mac owners had success with it.

Well, I searched aota.net and couldn't find the thread on the problems I had setting up email on a Mac, it wasn't that long ago.
Hi Kat,
If you're using Claris Emailer, you may find some help here http://www.aota.net/ubb/Forum8/HTML/000018-1.html
Don't know if that's what Dave was looking for but it's what I've come up with thus far. Hope it points you in the right direction.
