Status on PhotoPost?

Hi everyone,

I'm new here, I am planning on uploading a vbulletin discussion forum and I wanted to use PhotoPost gallery with it as I find this combo to work really well.

I've read a number of threads here in the FutureQuest forums about how PhotoPost cannot be run on FutureQuest forum because it has to be run with the Safe Mode disabled.

There was some talk between FutureQuest and PhotoPost about working on making PhotoPost workable on FutureQuest.

Can someone tell me what the status if PhotoPost is on FutureQuest and if PhotoPost is a no-go is there a recommended replacement?

Or, can I host PhotoPost on another hosting site and some how integrate it with my vbulletin forum?

As far as having safe mode disabled in order to run PhotoPost, that has already been done.

We offer our own alternative to safe_mode, which we call Secure_Mode(TM). It allows your PHP scripts to run under your own userID so that safe_mode is no longer necessary on our servers.

I believe at least a few members have run PhotoPost on their FutureQuest sites. Hopefully they'll drop in and give you some feedback. :)

Excellent news...

I was holding off on purchasing PhotoPost until I found out for sure I could run it with vbulletin here at FutureQuest. I'm the Admin and basically the answer man on another website and I use PhotoPost all day long...

PhotoPost/vB has been working fine for us here at FQ for a couple of years now :)
