Question about referer?

In the last couple days I've seen that 25% of my referals have come from an "adult" site. I'm not super excited about this (just don't want the connection).

Even worse would be if a client would search for my site and somehow find something from that site (not sure that could happen but reputation is about 95% of our business).

Is there a way that I could go about finding how these referals are occuring. (all I use currently is the stats in the CNC).

ps. for some reason I have a feeling that a "friend" could have posted a "personal" on the site thinking they were funning and included my site info? But I'm sure they would have called me to tell me how funny they are by now?

Are your stats password protected? That's always a good idea. Anyway, this could be "referrer spam." See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Referrer_spam

I think I have my stats password protected? Can someone tell me how this is done through the CNC? (I have an htcaccess file in the main directory of the CNC)
