I have my Email set up with MS Outlook Express.[nbsp][nbsp]I can receive Email with no problem (thanks to the tutorial)[nbsp][nbsp]:)[nbsp][nbsp]I cannot reply to the Email I receive when the use my "web address email".[nbsp][nbsp]I get a TCP/IP error message.
Help???
I'm not quite sure I understand the question...
You send an email to a different email address and then receive the email at that other email address and click reply and this is where the error is?
Or am I misunderstanding? Let me know in a lil more detail and I'll see if I can help

I can "receive" email to poormans@horse-n-more.com (www.horse-n-more.com being my web address).[nbsp][nbsp]I can "click" the reply button, type the "reply" message and then click send.[nbsp][nbsp]This is where it hangs and I finally get the ERROR message saying that there is a problem with my TCP/IP settings.
I hope I am better at explaining this time[nbsp][nbsp]:)
Thanks for the help!

Karen,
What do you have entered in the outgoing (SMTP)box where you configured outlook to get your mail? Should be the same as the POP box (horse-n-more.com). Also if you want to reply using your futurequest account you need to select it using the drop down box that should be there for your from field.

Does sending a message "from scratch" (rather than a reply) generate the same error?
If you have your settings for sending mail set up correctly, but sending won't work, you might have run in to the same problem I did on my last dial-up ISP: they blocked port 25/SMTP so as not to allow anyone to send email from an account other than their ISP account.
You might want to call tech support for your dial-up and ask them about this. In my case, though, the phone techies I spoke too had no idea what I meant when I was talking about port 25, and refused to help me since "the services they had agreed to provide worked fine" (ie, ability to surf the web and use the email address they provided).[nbsp][nbsp]I switched ISP's as soon as I could!
I've heard that MindSpring, AT&T, and Sprint have all blocked port 25 at one time or another, I don't know if they still have it in place, and there are problably others that do it as well.
I hope this *isn't* the case for you, since it's such a headache to work around (though not as bad since FutureQuest implemented QuestMail), but I thought you should check it out if you just can't seem to get it working from your end.
Good luck with it!
