New coupon-mon site design

I re-designed the Coupon-Mon website recently. Please check it out and let me know what you think... I'm interested in getting ideas for improvement or functionality if anyone has them, as well as those common sense things which are easy to overlook. Thanks in advance for any input.

Clean, well-organized and solid. :yeah:

I like the wide variety of navigation options -- dropdowns, alpha index, Featured/Newest/Ending -- and the Monitor feature is a great idea. (You might expand on it by putting a Monitor summary box in the righthand column.)

Nicest coupon site I've seen so far, by a wide margin.

The Merchant Index (http://www.coupon-mon.com/merchant/) breaks the format a bit, though -- is that left over from a previous version?

A coupon site should be brighter and more colorful, and there's too much padding on top of the "Welcome" box. Otherwise it's good.

Yes. That was the previous design. I still have a bit of cleanup to do in the alpha menu department. Luckily, I know no such thing as a weekend. Thanks for checking it out to that degree! I appreciate your comments.

Wassercrats - I tried to keep the design a bit on the monotone side using earthtones so I could avoid conflicting with whatever color the merchant logos might be on any given page. You might be right though... perhaps I could colorize the icons on the right hand side to start with. Hmm...

I tried to keep the design a bit on the monotone side using earthtones so I could avoid conflicting with whatever color the merchant logos might be on any given page. That's the way I'd approach it. But as you say, it doesn't stop you from using color outside of the listings area.
