They're rebroadcasting the whole series, in the order it was meant to be seen!

Note warnings about age appropriateness (thanks Mandi!).

The shiny "international" trailer for the movie just went online today:

One of our all time favorite quotes from this series: May have been the losing side. Still not convinced it was the wrong one.

Plus in the pilot there's a truly wonderful scene with a phrase that married couples can safely use as a reproductive euphamism in front of their kids. Also works to defuse martial tension (if I say it properly, my spouse dissolves into girlish giggles). :P

Only 18 days until our Big Dang Movie hits the Big Dang Screen, and this is the only forum I've visited that isn't abuzz with excitement.

SciFi is running a marathon of the first 10 episodes on the 27th. Do yourselves a favor, buy a fresh tape or Tivo it, then watch at a languorous pace:

Kaylee: So how come you don't care where you're going?
Book: 'Cause how you get there is the worthier part.

The problem for many of us, is, we've already got Firefly on DVD. :)

I have been watching it on DVD from Netflix. When it was on in it's original TV run I think I watched about 3 episodes and lost interest. I probably would have stuck around if they would have run them in the proper order.

I also lost interest when it was first on. I watched part of the train robery episode and thought "Brisco County Jr. in space" and that was enough for me to never watch it on TV again.

Then later after so many people said it was great I decided to grab the DVDs from NetFlix and I thought it was great.

Some shows just shouldn't be watched out of order. I also watched Joss's other big series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. When it first came out I thought "I saw that movie and while it was kinda good it doesn't really deserve a series". Then I was finally convinced to give it a try about half way through the 4th season and I loved it. Of course I didn't really get what was going on until I went back and watched the old episodes.
